Somehow i get by
with all odds
against me
i am still standing
and breathing
feeling is seeing
having hope
within faith
that strengthens one
to keep on rising
each time
they fall
even knowing
that certain things
may be manipulated
to make sure
that desired
and deserved pitfalls
make one
submerge
in tears
stained
with prompts of pain
but the heart,
the soul and mind
with time
learned
not to choke
on all
that may be thrust
in its way
the warrior soul
seeks
causes
that make
one look for positives
in negative flaws
that dissect
human ways
of thinking
nudging the brain
to ask:
Is it really possible
