Giving to love
Here is a candle
To give you light
Be it day or night
May my warmth
Cover you in winter
Absorb all you can
I will be sufficient
For you in all weather
I will be your radar
Get the sails ready
The seas await
Raise the anchors
This beast
Has become
A float
Love is on board
My light
Will shine always
Sail on!

Were my prayers Said in Earnest
When Heaven knocks
Must I Remember
All that I have done
As i toiled on earth
Were my prayers
Said in Earnest
Did i give enough
What could I have done better
Loving God or Man
I feel I missed the Mark

Seeking Nazareth
Seeking Nazareth
I stumble upon the word
Must One
Walk the Nazarene way
In this day
Given the chaos
Within the concrete jungle
Is it upright
For a man
To pray
To the gods
Of his forefathers
When all
Have chosen
To worship
Idols?

picking the pen
picking the pen
let me squeeze the ink
the soul yearns
it twitches
for days of past
that now lie abandoned
in the ghost towns
of memories
that scarred
my childhood
neva learnt to count
or cross my T's
besides
living under the bridge
one is not really worried
about the cars
that may pass above
or the rats
with real beast and mean
dracula teeth
that my puzzle
a few K9's
to say the least
you take life
as it comes
or rather it finds you
dirtied in tatters
that may sink the preachers wife's heart
who is there for the lost children
the pen takes centre stage
it bleeds
to understand
is this what God had in Mind?

JUSTICE CHIKANDAMINA: Chasing December
JUSTICE CHIKANDAMINA: Chasing December: Chasing December I have said good by to my November It let me shivering Lost only to be found In memoirs of Normandy Trenches ...
Chasing December
Chasing December
I have said good by to my November
It let me shivering
Lost only to be found
In memoirs of Normandy
Trenches
Never to be forgotten
With pungent smells
Of souls uprooted
Before time...
The world became darkened
Lost its pulse
Never again to re-emerge
From circles
Of thirst men
Ready to spill bloody
For queen or country
Brothers
Killing sisters
Never to retrace the path
Littered with gold
Heaven knocks
Nobody hears
Take heed the season is now

Let me bleed out darkness
On the side of light
Deuces flowing
On my mental core
Let me bleed out darkness
Sacred are blessings
...
Beyond all the eye can see
Time to duck
I got the IRS
On my door step
Blood and sweat
Come to fore
I saw the FEDS
Last week
A deal gone bad
My life
Would be needing
A flipping switch
Got no love for uncle Sam
And his cronies
Been to church
And all that
Sorry Satchmo
My world is flippin' madd
Heaven on a pedestal
Do you dig
Demons do walk in daylight
Devouring and sinking
Souls
I have been to the pit
My Faith tried and tested
I am still standing!
Deuces flowing
On my mental core
Let me bleed out darkness
Sacred are blessings
...
Beyond all the eye can see
